The list of the entities who are responsible for charging E-levy.

 The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has identified the organizations in charge of deducting the yet-to-be-implemented Electronic Transfer Levy (E-Levy).

According to the Authority, as May 1 approaches, companies entitled to make such deductions are preparing to ensure a seamless implementation of the new tax policy.

On JoyNews' The Probe, Victor Yao Akogo, Head of Compliance, Domestic Tax Revenue Unit, Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), identified them as follows:

MTN, Vodafone Cash, AirtelTigo, Zeepay, and G-Money are examples of electronic money issuers.

E-transact is an example of a Payment Service Provider (PSP).

Banks [Fees for using the digital system]

SDIs (Specialized Deposit-Taking Institutions) include rural and community banks, for example.

A Principal Revenue Officer and the Head of Project Management shed more light on the subject.
